Compact control and protection panel for 2 single-phase or three-phase pumps up to 12A with automatic alternation between them by means of buoys, selectable 230Vac or 400Vac power supply. By means of two built-in relays, it allows the manual adjustment of the maximum intensity for the protection of each of the pumps against overload, as well as protection for lack of phase (three-phase pumps), anti-seizure system, level control by means of floats, protection of pump temperature by Klixon input (stop due to excessive heating), high level alarm siren, high level independent voltage-free contact alarm output and general alarm.
The panel has a panel on the front with function or alarm indicator lights (supply voltage to the panel, pump running, pump failure alarm, high level alarm), as well as buttons for the start and stop of the pumps and a reset button that allows the unit to be reset after an overload alarm. It has an on-load cut-off switch for forced stopping that stops the motor and does not allow it to start under any circumstances, and an operation selector located on the back of the equipment cover that has two positions for simultaneous stopping. or for the deferred stoppage of the pumps.
Automatic operation of the pumps according to the established controls and protections or manual operation that causes the forced operation of the pumps, while the thermal protections of the pumps remain active. The forced stop mode stops the motor and does not allow it to start under any circumstances. Automatic switching of the pumps due to failure, thermal failure or deactivation of one of them, so that if any incident occurs in the maintenance pump, the other pump will take over. The unit offers two voltage-free contacts, one for signaling or activating alarms due to thermal jump or high level and another contact for siren due to high level that is activated at the same time as the siren of the unit itself.
It allows the thermal protection of the pump so that in case of overload or failure of any of the phases, the thermal jump of the same occurs 7 seconds after detecting the anomaly, as well as protection against anti-seizure of the pumps so that when are in automatic state, the equipment applies one second of power every 23 hours of inactivity, to avoid seizing and deterioration in long periods of rest.
If the motor has a Klixon thermal contact, it can be connected to the terminals included in the control panel so that in the event of excessive heating of the motor, the equipment causes its shutdown due to thermal failure.
Functioning:
The high level alarm buoy will activate the pump in the event of a defect in the rest of the buoys. Likewise, the failure of any buoy enables its immediate superior.
