Fixed ball screw support BK 12 - Hiwin

BK 12 fixed support bracket for ball screw with a nominal shaft diameter of 14 - 18mm, including two 7001A P0 super precision angular contact ball bearings.


For proper operation, the spindles need bearing support points at their ends; because the spindles support and generate axial and radial forces, they will need a fixed support at one end and a floating support at the other end.

The BK type fixed supports absorb the spindle loads and prevent axial movement by firmly securing the ball screw and providing high rigidity. They consist of two Series 7000 angular contact ball bearings, clamping nut for correct preloading of the bearings, cap retention and support ring. This type of housing is assembled on the spindle on the motor side, where the driving force is applied.

BK housings are suitable for providing stability and accuracy in linear motion applications, they provide strong support for the spindles, giving longer spindle life and better spindle performance by reducing spindle wear. Their rigid design minimizes spindle deflection, ensuring alignment and accuracy of motion.


The spindle height of the BK fixed bearing bearing matches that of the BF bearing bearing. The spindle end machining suitable for BK fixed supports is type E9-xx.
