Single-step, snap-action safety foot switch (push button) with 2 electrical contacts, one open (NO) and one closed (NC), with positive opening operation according to EN/IEC 60947-5-1. Pedal with protective cover with high resistance plastic cover in yellow color, offers a long life in demanding conditions thanks to its resistance to hydraulic oil and various greases.
This type of elements are used as control switches in industrial applications and general purpose applications for the control of start and stop of machinery. Pedal in compliance with current safety standards, suitable for applications and works of risk level, has a mechanical locking device mounted to prevent the operation of the pedal if the foot is not fully on the pedal actuation. It has a protective cover to prevent unwanted operation either accidentally by human action or by falling objects, thus avoiding unintentional starting of the machine. Its base has rubber bumpers to prevent slipping during use.
These foot-operated foot switches incorporate a snap-action NC + NO contact block with positive opening operation and are fully compliant with current standards. The foot pedal is snap action, i.e. the contacts are activated when the pedal is pressed with the foot and deactivated when the foot is removed.
